Dashing Dishes adheres to Alberta Health Services standards to ensure food safety and uses well established and reputable suppliers for food freshness, quality and safety. As a registrant to Dashing Dishes, you acknowledge that Dashing Dishes disclaims any legal liability or responsibility whatsoever for any adverse effects resulting from the services and products provided. You hereby agree to use the services and food provided at your sole risk.
Freeze your dishes immediately when you receive them, or refrigerate/cook any dish you plan to prepare. For any meals that need to be thawed prior to cooking, please thaw the meal in your refrigerator overnight. Fully cook all dishes according to the directions provided and ensure that food is adequately cooked as cooking times may vary. Cook the food within 90 days of freezing for maximum taste and quality. You are fully aware and understand that ingredients, meals and Dashing Dishes products may have been manufactured on shared equipment with or come in contact with wheat, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. In particular, you are fully aware that Dashing Dishes does not guarantee that you will not be allergic or have any adverse reactions to any of its products. You are advised to contact Dashing Dishes for more information regarding food allergies.
Any nutritional information supplied by Dashing Dishes is based on average values for ingredients and standard formulations. You agree and understand that meal nutritional values are based on estimates and variations may occur due to substitutions, manufacturer/supplier alterations and individual assembly and preparation changes. You further recognize that the safety of any personal property you bring to our store location is your sole responsibility and Dashing Dishes is not responsible for any damage or loss to this property whether by theft, accident or otherwise.
In addition, you agree not to resell your Dashing Dishes meals or use them for commercial service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Dashing Dishes, its affiliates, directors or principals be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, compensatory or consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for personal injury, death, damage to property or loss of profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of any of the Dashing Dishes products or services; whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if Dashing Dishes or any of its affiliates or suppliers have been advised of the possibility of damages.
A full refund is provided if cancellation is received before noon on the day prior to your registered pick-up or delivery date. Otherwise, no refunds are issued.
You must pick-up your meals on your registered pick-up date, unless alternate arrangements have been made beforehand. If you miss your registered pick-up date, please contact us immediately to arrange for pick-up on an alternate date. Your order must be picked-up within two days of your missed registration date as we cannot hold meals longer than this due to storage limitations. Unfortunately, we do not offer refund or credit if you do not pick-up your meals within two days of your registered pick-up date and you do not make alternate arrangements with us.
Delivering your meals in our insulated cooler bag allows us to offer efficient and safe delivery. If you do not leave your cooler bag(s) out for us on your registered delivery date, we will leave your meals in a new bag and charge your credit card for the additional bag(s). Our deliveries are done between 5-9 p.m. on your registered delivery date. Please ensure someone will be home at this time. Dashing Dishes will ring your doorbell or buzzer when we drop-off your meals, but no further contact will be made. Customers are responsible for collecting their meals and freezing them as soon as possible after drop-off.
We make every attempt possible to deliver your meals between 5-9 p.m. on the date you've registered for; however, unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery times (i.e. our delivery van is involved in an accident or breaks-down). If we are unable to deliver your meals by 9 p.m., we will call you as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements.
We care about our delivery drivers' safety. Please ensure walkways are clear (shoveled during the winter), dogs are restrained, building is in good repair, etc. If our delivery driver is unable to deliver your meals due to safety issues, you will be asked to pick your meals up from our store location within two days. Unfortunately, your delivery fee will not be refunded.
