1. What can I expect?

It's simple! Click 'Register Now' from the menu bar and select either 'Pick-up' or 'Delivery.' Based on your selection, a list of available dates will populate. Choose the date that works best for you, make your meal selections and choose if you would like to have your meals split. The system will also allow you to make a note of any ingredient you would like omitted from your order, and/or any special delivery instructions.

Delivery: We ask you to make a one-time $10.00 purchase of an insulated cooler bag. This allows us to deliver your meals quickly, efficiently and safely. After your first delivery, please leave your cooler bag(s) out on your delivery day and we will swap your bag for a new one filled with your delicious Dashing Dishes! If you do not leave your cooler bag(s) out for us on your registered delivery date, we will leave your meals in a new bag and charge your credit card for the additional bag(s). Our deliveries are done between 5-9 p.m. on your registered delivery date. Please ensure someone will be home at this time. Dashing Dishes will ring your doorbell or buzzer when we drop-off your meals, but no further contact will be made. Customers are responsible for collecting their meals and freezing them as soon as possible after drop-off.

Pick-up: If you would prefer to pick-up your ready-to-freeze/cook meals from our location, please contact us to make arrangements. Don't forget to bring your cooler! TOP

2. Where do you deliver?

We offer FREE delivery throughout Calgary and offer delivery once a week for each community in the city. If you do not see a date for your area, it is most likely because your area has sold out for deliveries. In addition, we offer delivery to Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane and Okotoks for a $20 delivery fee. TOP

3. Do I need to bring anything with me when I pick-up my meals?

We will provide freezer bags, aluminum trays and anything else you need to freeze your meals. You just need to bring a cooler to take your meals home in. TOP

4. I really like one of the meals, can I order more than one?

Yes, you can! Our system will allow you to order up to two of each entree. TOP

5. Can I split my meals into smaller portions?

Of course! During the online registration system you will have the opportunity to select the 'Split' option. Your entrees will be packaged into half portions, with each meal serving 2-3 (full meals feed 4-6). For example, if you order eight meals and choose to split them, you will receive 16 meals, each serving 2-3. TOP

6. The cost per entree is quite low, how can this be?

We buy the freshest ingredients at wholesale, as well as work with a local butcher to provide the highest quality of meat at a great price. We then pass these savings onto you! We are a much healthier, tastier and cost-effective option than fast food or processed meals. Not to mention how convenient having a freezer full of Dashing Dishes is! TOP

7. Do I have to register on the website?

Typically, all registrations are done online. If this is not an option, please give us a call at 403.471.1395 and we would be glad to help you out. TOP

8. What if a meal has an ingredient I don't like or I have dietary restrictions?

Hate garlic? No problem. During our online registration process, you have the opportunity to leave us a note for any ingredients you would like omitted from your order. Each meal also has a link to the ingredients contained in that meal so you may choose the entrées that best suit your needs. TOP

9. I have told a lot of my friends about your services, do you have a referral policy?

Yes, we do! Once you refer six people who register for Dashing Dishes, you will receive 10% off your next Dashing Dishes order. As well, once you have registered six times, you will receive 10% off your next registration. TOP

10. I have food allergies. How can I be sure not to order meals that contain ingredients I'm allergic to?

No problem. When selecting your meals during the online registration process, you will see a link to the ingredients found in each of our meals (the link is beside each meal title). If you need any further information on an ingredient, please contact us and we would be more than happy to assist you. Our customers with allergies typically choose the meals from our ingredient list that best suit their needs. We do our absolute best to ensure cross-contamination of ingredients does not occur at our facility. Each meal is assembled on its own table and each ingredient has its own utensil. However, please note that we are not a nut- or gluten-free facility. TOP

11. Do you have a cancellation policy? What if I am sick?

12. How long can Dashing Dishes meals stay frozen?

Dashing Dishes meals can be kept frozen for 3-5 months. TOP

13. What is the cost of Dashing Dishes?

The cost for 4-7 entrées is $45/entrée, 8-11 entrée is $38/entrée and the cost for 12+ entrees is $36/entrée. We offer FREE delivery within Calgary city limits and charge a $20 delivery fee to Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane and Okotoks. We do not charge GST. 14. Is nutritional information provided?

Yes, we provide nutritional information for each of our entrées. Nutritional data is based on one serving, assuming each full meal contains six servings. The nutritional information is calculated using standard formulations and average values for ingredients. TOP

15. I have a gluten intolerance, are you gluten-free?

Dashing Dishes is not a gluten-free facility. Some of our entrées do use ingredients that contain gluten. However, you can make substitutions for ingredients so they fit with your specific needs. For further information please contact us. TOP

16. What are your payment options?

We ask first-time registrants to pay in advance by credit card during the online registration process. If you prefer, we can also accept credit card information by phone (403.471.1395). Repeat clients also have the option to pay for their order by email money transfer or PayPal. If you are picking your order up from our store, you may pay by cash, cheque or credit card. We must receive full payment in advance for delivery orders. TOP

17. I have split my meals, do my cooking times vary?

Yes, they may vary slightly. For split meals, you may need to decrease cooking times and/or temperatures slightly. TOP

18. Can I assemble my own meals?

At this time, we do not offer the opportunity for customers to assemble their own meals. Regardless if you select the pick-up or delivery option, your meals will be assembled using raw ingredients and ready to freeze or cook. TOP
